create + conduct + connect
Andrew Ferber / Co-Chairman
Mr. Ferber is the founder of Colortronics and developed the first pioneering patents, which became the basis for the establishment of T-INK™ Inc.  Mr. Ferber’s career began with the formation of American Ceramicraft, Inc. (“ACI”) in 1980 where he proceeded to build an organization that designed developed and imported electronic components for the craft and promotional industries.  ACI’s products, which included promotional specialties and a variety of sound and light devices, were supplied to companies that included Mattel, Avon and Wal-Mart.  As Mr. Ferber began developing increasingly sophisticated lines of products, he identified a need for a new method of conducting electronic interfaces.  This need was the catalyst for creating the technology that spawned inks that conduct electricity. Mr. Ferber and his new entity, Ferber Technologies, LLC, formed a joint venture in 1996 with Engelhard to develop a business to commercialize the patented conductive ink technology.  In 1996, Mr. Ferber was the Chairman and CEO of this new Company, Engelhard Colortronics which became T-Ink, Inc.
